We are pleased to announce the beginning of something new at St. George's: every Wednesday evening starting at 6 pm, there will be something good on offer for everyone. Dinner is served first (at 6) then we transition into a variety of activities for young and old alike: nursery for infants, music and catechesis for kids, and for grown-ups a book study. All are invited to come and join in this new endeavor. Our Book Study will be looking at C.S. Lewis's The Great Divorce, several copies of which have been donated to St. George's by Meredith Grabill.
If you know that you will participate in the Wednesday night program and would like to reserve a spot at the 6 pm dinner, please let the church know by email or the form found in the Sunday bulletin by Tuesday each week.
Also on offer for adults on Wednesday evenings is a Bible Study. This group has been meeting for a number of years to study and discuss the books of the Bible with great care. The group is open to all who seek a deeper and more rigorous immersion in biblical texts, with the understanding that they will attend regularly and participate fully by preparing additional material and leading the discussions from time to time. Because of time constraints and a desire for limited interruptions, the Bible Study asks that participants arrive promptly (at 6:15) and not bring food from the Parish dinner into the meeting with them.
